Castello Arangino

Description

The Arangino Castle is located in Aritzo, a pretty village at the foot of the Gennargentu, in Barbagia, in the province of Nuoro. Built in 1917 and belonged to the family of the same name, which died out in 1954 due to a tragic act of blood, it is part of the model of the medieval castle, widely used in stately homes and villas built between the 19th and 20th centuries, with references to historical architecture , is located along the main street of the town. It is an elegant neo-Gothic stone building, with elegant interiors enriched by splendid furnishings and ornamental decorations. The entrance to the castle consists of an elegant pointed arch closed by an elaborate iron gate and surmounted by a small tiled roof supported by two decorative columns. On the right side there is an elegant balcony with a tiled roof. Inside the courtyard, a staircase leads to the palace, equipped with pointed arch openings with a terminal enriched by elegant method.
