Nuraghe Santu Antine

The Nuraghe of Santu Antine, also called "Sa Domo e su Re" (The King's House) is one of the most majestic nuraghes of the whole island and also the most important of the existing ones.Considered a masterpiece of monumental Nuragic architecture, it has a triangular shape with three side towers and a fourth central one that reaches a height of seventeen meters, it is initially estimated to have reached about twenty-four. The Royal Palace is a labyrinth of corridors, stairs, rooms, wells and silos. The main entrance overlooks the courtyard from which you access the other towers.Outside the complex, the ruins of the village made up of fourteen circular huts.The finds from the various excavation campaigns are exhibited in the Museum of the Nuraghi Valley, in Torralba.
