Description
Museum exhibition created in the home of the artist Carmelo Floris (1891-1960), located in Olzai, a pretty town in the province of Nuoro, in central Sardinia. This permanent exhibition is housed in an old eighteenth-century manor house that belonged to a noble family and subsequently inherited by the artist. Floris, a famous portrait and landscape painter, also successfully ventured into the engraving and decoration of ceramics. Multifaceted artist used various painting techniques in his creations and drew inspiration from the microcosm of the country and from popular and religious traditions.
