Description
The Dolmen di Monte Maone is located in Benetutti, in the locality of Maone, on a rural site. It is a construction of particular archaeological interest because its peculiarity is that of being a mixed type burial: a part is carved into the natural rock, a part is built with irregular granite rows and on these rests the covering slab. It was placed in a period between the final Neolithic and the ancient Eneolithic.
