Museo archeologico comprensoriale

Description

The Archaeological Museum of Teti, a pretty agricultural center in the province of Nuoro, was born in 1990 in a structure built in the ancient part of this territory and houses the finds, especially those of the Nuragic villages of S'Urbale and Abini. Particularly interesting is the hut of s'Urbale, reconstructed on a natural scale, and the numerous finds from the nuragic village of Abini (about 750 pieces) which refer to the visitor the type and importance of these archaeological sites from the Nuragic era. Numerous ceramic vases, bracelets and rings, votive swords and daggers, bronze archers and warriors as well as a demon-hero with four eyes, four arms and a double shield. A virtual journey through time that allows you to admire even the most ancient finds referable to the Neolithic, middle and final, found on a plateau in the Atzadalai area, among which the Sardinia idolet stands out interpreted as a "sleeping mother goddess" with evident female features and made of volcanic rock.
