Description
The Archaeological and Paleobotanical Museum is located in the municipality of Perfugas, in the province of Sassari city. It is divided into a paleobotanical and an archaeological section, the result of excavations in the Sardinia territory. Plant fossils from the petrified forest of Anglona are exhibited, as well as stone tools and bronze and ceramic art facts from the Hellenistic and Roman periods. From the museum you can continue with a visit to the sacred well and the sacred symbols of San Giorgio in the center of the town.
