Museo del carbone - Centro Italiano della cultura del carbone

The Museo del Carbone is located in the territory of Carbonia, in the southern part of Sardinia. The museum is also the seat of the Italian center of coal culture, an association between the municipality of Carbonia and the Historical and Environmental Geo-mining Park of Sardinia. Important testimony of the mining activity of the extensive Serbariu field (fraction of Carbonia) which characterized the economy of Sulcis and represented an energy resource also for the peninsula.
