Nuraghe Oes

The Nuraghe Oes is located in central northern Sardinia, in the municipality of Giave, in that part of the territory identified as Valle dei Nuraghi due to the high density of nuraghi present. Dated between the end of the Bronze Age and the beginning of the Iron Age, it is one of the most important structures in the Sardinia territory. It is of a complex type, made of basaltic blocks, has a main body consisting of a keep to which a bastion has been placed that encloses a courtyard and two smaller towers. It is easily accessible from the main road through a dirt path bordered by recently built dry stone walls
