Nuraghe Sa Cuguttada

The Sa Cuguttada nuraghe is located within the municipality of Mores, in the province of Sassari. It is a circular single tower protected by two megalithic walls and surrounded by the remains of a nuragic village. Between the two walls heaps of basalt stones are the signs of the presence of dwelling huts from the Nuragic age; their shape is circular. It should be noted that it is one of only four nuraghi known so far with the presence of four niches. Nearby it is possible to visit the most famous and well-known Dolmen Sa Coveccada (which means "the roof") and the Ruju Nuraghe.
