Description
Suggestive archaeological area including a complex nuraghe and an extensive village of huts: a unique place, which declared a World Heritage Site in 1997. Coming to light during the 1950s, the nuraghe was built in different phases starting from the 15th century BC. It is about 18 meters high, incorporated in an enclosure consisting of four side towers joined by walls. Around these buildings stood the village mostly made up of circular huts: these are environments that were intended for specific domestic or ritual activities.
