The Pisan Lion Tower was incorporated into the central body of this building, which was significantly damaged three times during the British bombing in 1708, by the Spaniards in 1717 and by the French in 1793. As evidence of these attacks suffered. , currently on the facade, three cannon balls are clearly visible. Inside the palace, you can see a Roman funerary star walled up in the tower with other inscriptions. Towards the end of the 19th century, the building became the property of the Rossi family as symbolized by the "R" carved on some windows. Now the property belongs to the counts of the Marche region Tomassini Barbarossa.
