Description
The Ecclesiastical Museum of Sacred Art, located in Oristano, is housed in the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and collects the remains of the Gothic and Roman Church. In the beautiful chapter house of the Baroque Cathedral located in the historic center of the town there are preserved ancient sacred vestments and numerous silvers as well as the largest collection of illuminated manuscripts in Sardinia, dating back to the period between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries.
