Description

The Scoglio di Peppino beach is located on the border between Muravera and Castiadas in the lower eastern part of Sardinia and is considered one of the most beautiful and popular places in Sardinia. The rock divides the beach of Santa Giusta in the municipality of Castiadas, from the beach of Ginestre, which is instead located in the municipality of Muravera. Apparently it owes its name to a fisherman who used to fish in that rock, on which there is a legend of love. Surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, it is characterized by golden white sand and the crystalline sea dominated by the Peppino rock, with a low and sandy bottom with the presence of some rocks.
