Description

Capo Pecora Beach is located in a wonderful inlet within the promontory of the same name recognized as a Site of Community Importance, in the territory of Arbus, in south-western Sardinia. It is made up of light golden sand, coarse grains, with pebbles smoothed by the sea, bathed by crystal clear waters with sensational colors that contrast with the green of the typical Mediterranean vegetation that surrounds it. The scent of rosemary, juniper, myrtle and helichrysum combined with the brackish air give this corner of the coast a suggestive and unique appearance. A peculiarity of the Capo Pecora coves lies in the fact that the rocks of the coast have been smoothed by atmospheric agents and have taken on particular shapes, so much so that one is called the "beach of dinosaur eggs".
