Description
Between Capo Mannu and Su Pallosu, in the municipality of San Vero Milis, the fascinating beach of Sa Mesa extends along the central western coast of Sardinia. This enchanting beach is named for the presence of a flat outcropping rock that resembles a long table (sa mesa longa) and acts as a natural barrier for the mistral winds. The sand is amber in medium-large grains mixed with fragments of shells, its crystal clear waters bathe the shore with shallow and gently sloping sea beds so it is suitable for families with children. It is part of the marine protected area of the Sinis Peninsula.
