Description

The Rena Bianca beach is located three hundred meters from Santa Teresa di Gallura, the extreme tip of north east Sardinia. About seven hundred meters long, it is made up of a very fine sand which in some places, on the shore, takes on pink reflections, due to the presence of tiny fragments of coral. The water is crystal clear, with a thousand shades ranging from blue to turquoise, passing through green and remains low for a few meters from the shore, the seabed is low and sandy, suitable for families with children and for the elderly. The beach is protected from the west wind by the Municca peninsula and the islet of Municchedda. The eastern side is instead protected by the promontory where the Longonsardo Tower stands. During the beautiful days it is possible to admire the white cliffs of the Corsican coast which is just over eleven miles away.
