Tomba dei Giganti di Su Furrighesu

The Tomb of the Giants of Su Furrighesu is located in Sindia, in north-western Sardinia, and is a typical testimony of the Nuragic civilization belonging to the category of tombs of the giants with funerary room and exedra in rows. Of this monument, dating back to the period between the Middle and Recent Bronze Age, the tomb body with semicircular exedra and burial chamber is preserved. At the center of the exedra there is the entrance with a hatch made from a trapezoidal slab. A short distance away are the homonymous nuraghe and a dolmen.
