Description
The Basilicia of Sant'Antioco Martire (Patron Saint of Sardinia), built on the tomb of the saint, is one of the oldest monuments in the region. After a long abandonment it was entrusted to the Vittorini monks. Over time the collapsed parts were rebuilt with the same original stones and the central naves were extended and created a late Baroque style facade. From the church itself you can access the catacombs, where the remains of the patron saint are kept at the entrance.
