Cala Cappello

Description

Cala Cappello is a small beach of modest size, about forty meters long and framed by pink rocks, which opens under Monte Cappello, from which it then takes the name of Cala di Monte Cappello, at the highest point of the island of Razzoli, part of the La Maddalena Archipelago, on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia. The beach has a dark golden sand, mixed with medium pebbles and light stones, ranging from white to yellowish. The sea, on the other hand, is green-turquoise, satin; while the seabed is pebbly-rocky and rather deep. In this cove the nature is beautiful, protected by the Maddalena Park, giving the visitor some panoramic views of rare beauty, on the islets of Santa Maria and La Presa. The cove can be reached from the north coast, on foot, walking for about seven hundred meters, or by boat from the Asinelli Pass.
