Description

The Porticciolo Beach of Alghero, located inside the fantastic Cala Viola, takes its name from the locality in which it is located, in the municipality of Alghero. It is a very suggestive cove but a little uncomfortable, as it is interrupted by many rocks and many debris, which also characterize the shoreline. On the right of the beach there is a hill with a large seventeenth-century Saracen watchtower, from which you can admire a fantastic landscape. The sea is transparent and very clear, with different shades of blue. The beach is characterized by light sand surrounded on the sides by dark cliffs. It is the ideal destination for spending relaxing days, because the beach is not very busy.
