Description
The Archaeological Museum of Villa Sulcis is located in the municipality of Carbonia, in the southern part of Sardinia. The layout of this museum reveals the archaeological landscape in the period from the Ancient Neolithic to the Byzantine. The exhibition originates from two private collections, the Pispisa Collection and the Doneddu Collection. The particular interest are the testimonies under the rock of Su Carroppu - Sirri, domus de Janas of Monte Corbu and Cannas and also rich funerary objects of the culture of the bell-shaped vase. It is possible to virtually visit the Punic city.
