Museum delle cere anatomiche Clemente Susini

Description

The Museum of Cere Anatomiche Clemente Susini is located in Cagliari, in the southern part of Sardinia, in the citadel of museums. Since 1991, he exhibits a permanent with twenty-three anatomical models in wax, which reproduce parts of the male and female human body, fruit of the work of the famous Florentine ceroplast Clemente Susini. The waxes bear the sculptor's signature and are placed on wooden tables, protected by display cases and accompanied by captions. This interesting and original museum is second only to that of the Specola in Florence, which the Cagliari institution was inspired by.
