Necropoli di San Simplicio

The Necropolis under the Basilica of San Simplicio ,in Olbia is the most important and ancient religious moments in north-eastern Sardinia and a testimony to the spread of christian religious on the island .During the excavation of the redevelopment of the space in front of the Church of San Simplicio ,Finds and 450 tombs emerged .The excavation returns a stratification of the phases of worship that runs through the first 2000 years of the city History ,From the population  to the middle age.
