Nuraghe Lugherras

The Lugherras Nuraghe is located in the municipality of Paulilatino, in the province of Oristano, in central-western Sardinia. It is one of the most evocative of this area. It is a single tower dating back to the Middle Bronze Age (1600 - 1350 BC), with a gigantic architrave and two overlapping chambers. The troubled central bastion that was built around the central nuraghe is thought to date back to the recent Bronze Age.
