Portu Quau

Porto Cuau Beach (in Sardinia means: hidden) is located in the municipality of Baunei, on the eastern coast of Sardinia. It is a small beach well sheltered from the winds, thanks to the very high cliffs that surround it. The waters are transparent and green, while the seabed has many rocks and sand, rich in marine fauna and is a popular destination for scuba diving enthusiasts. In the seabed of Portu Cuau you can also visit the remains of a merchant ship, the "Levante", tragically sunk in January 1963 ..
