Description

The wonderful Lu Impostu beach is located in Capo Coda Cavallo, in the territory of San Teodoro, in north-eastern Sardinia. The origin of the name is uncertain, it literally means "place of shipment" and one is inclined to think that it was a place of trade and shipment of goods. About one kilo meter long, it is an enchanting beach of fine and soft white sand, clear blue sea and shallow and sandy bottoms for many meters from the shore. In the rear area, close to the beach, a dense Mediterranean scrub enriched by the presence of centuries-old junipers, lilies, sea thistles and mimosas. Loved by those who practice scuba diving and snorkeling, it is ideal for families with children and the elderly. There are also ponds that contribute to making this charming corner of the Sardinia coast unique.
