Description
About ten kilo meters from the town of Domus de Maria, in south-western Sardinia lies the Piscinni beach. It takes its name from the majestic Spanish tower that stands on the nearby promontory, and is characterized by a wide beach of white and soft sand, crystalline and limpid sea with sandy bottoms that slope gently towards the open sea. They become rocky and rich in fish fauna so they are very appreciated by those who practice diving and spearfishing. Also being very exposed to the winds, this enchanting beach is popular with windsurfers and kite surfers. Behind the beach, a dense and green Mediterranean scrub and a pond that retracts in the summer months make the landscape even more impressive.
