Spiaggia di S'Arena Scoada

Description

In the municipality of San Vero Milis, in central western Sardinia, lies the suggestive beach of S’arena Scoada surrounded by the charming tourist village of the same name. The sand is golden and fine, mixed with fragments of multicolored quartz, stones and, in some places, smooth outcropping rocks. The crystalline and blue sea near the shore has a low and sandy bottom suitable for children's games. The peculiarity of this stretch of coast is given by the presence of limestone rocks mixed with clay which is used by bathers for cosmetic and sandblasting purposes. The landscape is graced by the island of Mal di Ventre and on particularly windy days it is very popular with windsurfers and kite surfers.
