Spiaggia di Torre dei Corsari

Description

In western Sardinia, in the marvelous inlet of Conca Verde, there is the splendid Torre dei Corsari beach whose name derives from the presence of the Spanish tower of Flumentorgiu, dating back to the seventeenth century, built to protect the coast from the raids of Saracen pirates. The landscape is suggestive and the uncontaminated nature of the place emerges by stopping to admire the chromatic contrast given by the soft golden sand that forms high dunes, which welcome a green Mediterranean scrub, and the bright and iridescent colors of the sea. The seabed near the shore is low and sandy and slopes gently towards the open sea. Suitable for families with children and the elderly.
